the good:

  • one of the best soul food since new orleans
  • shrimps and grits are very tasty, a must have
  • the beignets are also amazing, both sweet version and the crawfish filled salty version are super flaky and tasty
  • watermelon ice tea!

the bad:

  • no fried chicken till 5pm, bummer
  • do expect at least 45 min. wait
  • pull pork benedict is alright nothing special

the good:

  • the “cruffin” (croissant+muffin) is absolutely amazing, fluffy crusts with mushy inside, and loaded with jam
  • croissant wrapped sushi is interesting, thought might be weird but totally matched up
  • small cozy place nice for snapping

the bad:

  • not really sure about the soy sauce comes with the croissant
  • expect long line as this is the new hype

the good:

  • amazing clam chowder, real pieces of clams and super tasty broth, the best clam chowder i’ve ever tasted
  • nice seafood pasta, the tomato source is just right
  • decent selection of oysters and cocktail
  • decent night view
